Chilli Crab Pasta, Salted Egg Yolk Fish and Chips, and more at Fish & Chicks, Singapore

If you're heading up North and are wondering what to eat in Ang Mo Kio, you could try fried fish and chicken tucked away at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10's coffee shop (Happy Hawkers). Here, you'll find delicious and affordable chilli crab pasta, fried fish and chicken with innovative sauces like salted egg, mentaiko, and more!

We've been a loyal customer, heading from the West all the way up North for this delightful fried fish and chicken for quite some time! Recently they have just revamped their menu, retaining their amazing Chilli Crab sauce while coming up with new sauces and pasta flavours! :)

The chilli crab pasta now comes with soft shell crab that is fried till it is golden and crispy! Crackling sounds of the crisp batter can be heard on your every bite! The chilli crab pasta is good as usual - a great kick of spice with a poached egg on top! Crack the egg and mix it into the sauce. It alters the texture, turning it into a more creamy sauce!

At 9.90 SGD, this is a steal! They are also currently having a promotion: add $2 to have an extra portion of soft shell crabs!

This was a photograph of the chilli crab pasta with fried fish in their previous menu (proof that we've been there many times!). We just wanted to show you that lovely golden brown fried fish. Though they do not have this option now, you can still order fried fish topped with chilli crab sauce.

They now also serve Mentaiko Pasta with Salmon and Truffle Carbonara which were so tempting but we just couldn't resist and got two servings of our favourite chilli crab pasta! We didn't have stomach for more but we'll be back for sure! Fish & Chicks have also branched out from their Ang Mo Kio outlet and now have 9 outlets island-wide! A few of them are also halal certified so it makes a great location for some Hari Raya feasting!
